Cusco-Perù
In the morning
The day begins with hotel pickup in Cusco between 2:50 – 3:20 AM, 4:00 – 4:30 AM, or 6:00 – 6:30 AM. We drive about 90 minutes (1 hour 30 minutes) south to Cusipata and enjoy a semi-buffet breakfast before beginning the ATV adventure.
We reach Kayrahuire Alto at 4,450 meters above sea level. Guides provide complete instructions on handling the ATVs safely. Guests practice riding in a designated area to gain confidence before starting the Rainbow Mountain ATV Tour. The tour follows private trails, offering stunning views of the Andean landscapes.
Riding for 50–60 minutes at a safe pace, we admire the majestic Ausangate snow-capped peak. Along the way, we pass local communities and observe people in traditional clothing. Near Rainbow Mountain, we stop and walk 3–5 minutes to the viewpoint. Guests spend about 40 minutes exploring the colorful strata and taking photographs.
After visiting Rainbow Mountain Peru, we return on ATVs for 30 minutes to the base station. A buffet lunch in Cusipata follows before the 90-minute drive back to Cusco. The tour concludes in the afternoon, offering a full day of adventure, culture, and breathtaking Andean scenery.
