Itinerary

Day 1Day 1: Machu Picchu – Hidroeléctrica – Santa Teresa – Zipline Adventure

We will begin our Inca Jungle Trek after visiting Machu Picchu. We will walk 11 km from Aguas Calientes to Hidroeléctrica, following a scenic route surrounded by lush vegetation and river views. This trail offers an easy and relaxing descent ideal for travelers seeking both adventure and tranquility.

At Hidroelectrica, our private transport will take us to Santa Teresa, located at 1,550 meters above sea level. Depending on time, we will experience our first adventure: an exciting zipline session lasting around 1 hour and 30 minutes. We will glide over the tropical valley, enjoying panoramic views and adrenaline-filled moments.

After the activity, we will enjoy a delicious local dinner prepared with Andean ingredients. The night will be spent at a cozy hotel in Santa Teresa, where we can rest and recharge for the next day’s activities.

We will start the second day of our Inca Jungle Trail at 8:00 AM. with a hearty breakfast in Santa Teresa. Around 9:00 AM., our transport will drive us for one hour to Santa María, where our rafting team will be waiting. We will then start an exhilarating rafting adventure on the Urubamba River, lasting approximately 2 hours and featuring Class II and III rapids.

After this thrilling activity, we will have free time to relax before enjoying a delicious buffet lunch at noon. Later, at 1:00 PM., we will travel toward Abra Málaga, located at 4,200 meters above sea level. From this point, we will begin a 35 kilometers downhill biking experience toward Phiry, near Ollantaytambo. The route offers spectacular views of the Andes, lush valleys, and small local villages.

After finishing our cycling descent (around 1 hour and 30 minutes), we will board our private transport back to Cusco. We will arrive in the city after approximately 2 hours, completing our unforgettable 2-day Inca Jungle Trek filled with action, landscapes, and cultural connection.
