1. General Conditions

Thank you for choosing Peru Travel Advisor (hereinafter referred to as PTA) for your travel experience in Peru.
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully, as they form the basis of your contract with PTA for all bookings made through our website, by email, or by any other communication channel.
By confirming a booking and/or making any payment, you and all travelers included in your reservation acknowledge and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

2. Disclaimer and Liability

PTA is not responsible for any illness, injury, death, damage, loss, accident, delay, emotional or mental distress, or harm to person or property resulting from any cause during or in connection with our tours or communications with our company.

By participating in any tour organized by PTA, you agree to:

    • Assume all associated risks and responsibilities.

    • Obtain appropriate travel insurance for each participant.

    • Release PTA, its directors, agents, and employees from any liability related to the above risks.

    • Refrain from initiating legal proceedings in any jurisdiction regarding the aforementioned risks and responsibilities.

    • Indemnify PTA against any claim related to such risks.

    • Confirm that you are physically fit and free from medical conditions that could affect your ability to participate.

    • Authorize PTA to arrange medical treatment in case of illness or accident, and agree to assume any associated costs.

    • Follow all instructions given by your guide, driver, or host, and ensure that minors under your care do the same.

3. Media Policy

By joining any PTA tour, you agree that:

    • Any photo, video, or audio recording you take during the tour may not be used for commercial or advertising purposes without prior written consent from PTA.

    • PTA reserves the right to use any images, videos, or recordings taken during the tours for promotional or informational purposes, without the need for prior approval.

4. Payment Policy

    • All payments for PTA tours must be made in US dollars (USD), as specified on your invoice.

    • Credit card companies or banks may apply their own exchange rates or service fees, for which PTA is not responsible.

    • A non-refundable deposit of 50% per person is required at least 45 days prior to the tour date to secure the reservation (unless otherwise agreed in writing).

    • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the tour departure date (unless otherwise agreed in writing).

    • PTA reserves the right to cancel the booking if full payment is not received within the indicated period.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

    • All deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

    • PTA does not provide refunds due to altitude sickness, food poisoning, personal or family emergencies, COVID-19 illness, weather conditions, or any other reasons attributed to the traveler.

    • PTA reserves the right to modify or cancel tours for reasons of safety, weather, or other circumstances beyond its control.

        • If PTA cancels a tour before departure, clients will receive a travel credit valid for one (1) year from the original booking date.

        • If a tour is cancelled after it has started, no refunds or credits will be issued.

    • There are no exceptions to this refund policy.

6. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be submitted to the competent authorities in Cusco, Peru.
