Tour Details

We will take a memorable Tour Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu over two exciting days. This journey will highlight the most important Inca sites. We will explore Pisac, its terraces, and the artisan markets, learning about local culture and history. We will walk the historic streets and admire the Sacred Valley’s stunning landscapes.

Around midday, we will visit Urubamba for a delicious lunch and continue to Ollantaytambo. We will explore this archaeological site built by Inca Pachacutec for military, agricultural, and religious purposes. After our guided tour, we will board the train to Aguas Calientes. There, we will check into our hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening, optionally visiting the hot springs.

The next morning, we will take the bus to Machu Picchu for a guided exploration of the Inca citadel. We will admire its terraces, temples, and breathtaking views while learning about its history and culture. We will experience the unique energy of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the tour, we will return by train and private transport to Cusco, concluding our unforgettable adventure.

Itinerary

Day 1Day 1: Cusco – Sacred Valley – Aguas Calientes

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 7:30 AM. We will travel through the breathtaking Sacred Valley of the Incas. First, we will explore Pisac and its impressive archaeological site. Our guide will explain the history, terraces, and significance of this ancient Inca site.

At midday, we will have lunch in Urubamba, enjoying local cuisine with spectacular mountain views. We will continue to Ollantaytambo, recognized as one of the world’s best tourist villages. Here, we will observe finely carved stone blocks used for astronomical purposes. After the tour, we will take the train to Aguas Calientes, a journey of approximately 1 hour 50 minutes (111 km). We will stay overnight in a comfortable hotel in Aguas Calientes.

After the guided tour, we will descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch at your choice of restaurant. We will board the train back to Ollantaytambo and then take private transport to return to Cusco. We will arrive in the evening, concluding an unforgettable Tour Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu 2D/1N.
